Here’s how you can pair your phone with the Windows 11 computer you are using.

  1. Go to Settings from Start Menu or use the Windows+I keyboard shortcut to access Settings
  2. Click on ‘Bluetooth & Devices’ in the left sidebar
  3. Click on the ‘Add a Device’ tile that you can find in the upper part of the window. A new ‘Add a Device’ window will appear on your screen
  4. Click on ‘Bluetooth’ in the overlay window. Wait for a few seconds until Windows can find the device you are trying to pair
  5. When your device appears, click its name to pair it with the Windows 11 PC you are using
  6. Accept the Bluetooth pairing request that you receive on your smartphone to establish a connection

Once you have paired the devices, Windows will notify you of that on the screen. Close the window now.

How To Enable Dynamic Lock For Locking Windows 11 When Away?

By default, Windows 11 has the Dynamic Lock feature disabled. But, it won’t take long to enable it from Settings. Just make sure that you have successfully paired your device with Windows 11 PC via Bluetooth before you try to enable Dynamic Lock. Follow the steps below to enable locking windows 11 when away.

  1. Go to Settings from Start Menu or use the Windows+I keyboard shortcut to access Settings
  2. Click the ‘Accounts’ tab in the left sidebar
  3. Click on the ‘Sign-in Options’ tile that you can find in the left part of the window.
  4. Scroll down and find the ‘Dynamic Lock’ option in ‘Additional Settings’
  5. Click the checkbox beside the ‘Allow Windows to automatically lock your device when you’re away’ option, and your Dynamic Lock will be enabled
  6. The Dynamic Lock feature will now automatically scan the list of all the connected peripherals and pick the appropriate ones.
